Wintape was founded by a native of Yucheng, Henan Province, China—widely known as the “Steel Tape City” for its complete measuring tape manufacturing ecosystem. Growing up in this environment inspired our founder’s passion for precision measuring tools and laid the foundation for Wintape.
Since day one, we have continuously invested in research and advanced manufacturing technologies to improve product quality, production efficiency, and customization capabilities. This commitment enables us to deliver reliable, innovative measuring solutions to customers worldwide.
From traditional steel tape measures, Wintape has grown into a leading manufacturer of tailor tape measures, body tape measures, diameter tape measures, digital laser tape measures, and other specialized measuring tools for professional applications.
This website is dedicated to our tailor tape measure expertise. Starting with classic vinyl-coated fiberglass measuring tapes, we have expanded our product range to include softer, more comfortable polyfiber fabric and cloth measuring tapes that meet the evolving needs of brands and professionals.
Today, Wintape is recognized as China’s first professional tailor tape manufacturer, offering premium-quality products with extensive OEM and ODM customization services for customers around the world.
1. Design & Prototyping
We create designs focused on flexibility, durability, and clear measurement markings, tailored for professional tailors, fashion brands, and sewing specialists.
2. Material Selection
Materials are chosen based on use and durability. Options include PVC-coated fiberglass, polyfiber fabric, and polyester ribbon, ensuring long-lasting performance and comfort.
3. Precision Mold Engraving
Brass molds are engraved with exact measurement scales—cm, inch, fractional, or decimal markings—for consistent, high-quality print that lasts.
4. Roller Printing
Ink is transferred to the tape via roller printing with brass molds, producing sharp, high-contrast, and durable markings that withstand repeated use.
5. Cutting & Finishing
Tapes are cut to standard lengths such as 60 or 120 inches, maintaining precise width and length for professional use.
6. Rolling & Packaging
Each tape is rolled neatly to prevent tangling and can be packaged according to client specifications, ready for distribution or immediate use.
